Zesty Submarine Sandwich
Zesty Submarine
Ingredients
- 1 ea. fresh baked French bread
- ½ lb. sliced salami
- soft butter
- 2 ea. tomatoes sliced
- 1 ea. tbsp. wine vinegar
- salt & pepper
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 4 oz. sliced Swiss cheese
- ¼ tsp. garlic salt
- ½ lb. thin sliced boiled ham
- 4 or 5 pieces of crisp lettuce
- ½ thinly sliced cucumber slices
- 1 ea. thinly sliced onion
Instructions
- cut bread horizontally in half
- spread bottom half with butter (no need to be stingy)
- stir together vinegar, oil, and garlic salt
- dip lettuce into mixture
- layer lettuce, salami, and tomatoes on buttered bread
- season with salt and pepper
- layer remaining ingredients on tomatoes
