How To Freeze Peaches

Instructions

1. Wash the peaches.
2. Cut into slices, (no peeling required).
3. The easiest way to cut a peach is to run a small paring knife all the way around the peach, pull the two halves, then remove the pit. After this, it’s easy to slice.
4. Soak the peach slices in a lemon juice bath for 5 minutes. 4 cups water + 2 tablespoons lemon juice.
5. Drain. Either dump the peaches into a colander or scoop them out with a slotted spoon. Let them sit on a baking sheet propped up on one end to drain more throroughly.
6. Arrange on a large baking sheet.
7. Freeze for 4 hours- overnight.
8. Transfer to a freezer bag, or to shrimk wrap bags, labelled with the contents & date.
9. Freeze for up to 1 year!
