Peanut Butter Pie
Ingredients
- 1 ea. 9” prepared chocolate pie crust
- 1 ea. ⅔ cup of creamy peanut butter
- 1 ea. 8 oz. package of cream cheese, softened
- 1 ea ½ cup confectioners’ sugar
- 1 ea. (12 oz.) container of frozen whipped topping, thawed, divided
- 1 ea. ⅓ cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips for adding to pie filling.
- 1 ea. ¼ cup of semi sweet chocolate chips for topping
Instructions
- Blend together peanut butter, 8 oz. of the whipped topping, cream cheese, and sugar.
- After this mixture is thoroughly blended, add the ⅓ cup of chocolate chips and blend to distribute evenly.
- Add this mixture to the chocolate pie crust.
- Top with remaining whipped topping.
- Place ¼ cup of the semi sweet chocolate chips into a baggie and use whatever item you have to crush the chocolate chips
