Mrs. Zint’s Spaghetti Sauce
Notes
Mix all ingredients and simmer for 2 hours with meatballs
Ingredients
- 23 ½ oz. whole tomatoes mashed by hand
- ½ grated small onion
- 1 ea. 15 ½ oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 ea. 8 oz. can tomato paste
- ¼ tsp. oregano
- 2 ea. tbsp. sugar
- salt to taste
- ½ tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 ea. clove garlic minced
- ⅛ tsp. fennel or anise (crush before adding to other ingredients)

- (1 ea. 8 oz. and 1 ea. 15 oz. can of whole tomatoes) mashed by hand

What brand of tomatoe sauce do you use in your Mr Pellman ?
I have found GFS Gordon food service to have the best quality for the money. They don’t compromise on taste. Best to avoid fresh as they won’t give the same flavor as canned.
